First arrest in Greta Thunberg toolkit case, Bengaluru police arrested climate activist Dishani Ravi

The Greta Thunberg toolkit case: The peasant movement is facing a major controversy internationally after the revelation of an alleged strategy to surround India. Climate change activist Greta Thunberg tweeted a document (toolkit). In which it was allegedly conspired to surround the Modi government as well as to defame India in front of the world. The cyber unit of Delhi Police’s Special Cell has arrested climate activist Disha Ravi from Bangalore.
According to the police, Disha will be produced in a Delhi court today. Disha is accused of editing a toolkit for a cyber attack after a farmers’ tractor rally on 26 January. They also made it operational by adding some things. Police said that many names could still appear in the case and he would be arrested soon.

Disha Ravi is one of the founders of Friday for Future Campaign. Delhi Police had registered a case against him in connection with the document shared by Great. This is the first arrest in a toolkit case. Activist Disha Ravi holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mount Carmel College. She was working from home when the special cell went to arrest her, according to police.
Disha Raveena’s father is an athletics coach in Mysore, while her mother is a housewife. On February 4, the Delhi Police Cybercrime Cell filed an FIR under sections 124A, 120A and 153A of the Indian Penal Code for promoting defamation, criminal conspiracy and hatred.
